Though the show has its flaws, here's a link to Clash of the Gods episode about Hercules. At least it's far more accurate than Hercules: The Legendary Journeys LOL.
...but...but... Kevin Sorbo was kinda hot. I watched the shit out of H:tLJ through junior high and high school for the same reasons I watched the shit out of Tommy: Shirtless hotness.
I remember the shows being on TV (along with Xena) and my parents watching them occasionally. I don't remember much of the shows, though. I know there's some movies that Sorbo did as Hercules. If you have Comcast OnDemand and Encore, they're on there right now. I was debating whether to watch them or not. Maybe if I'm bored. LOL.
I sort of wish someone would make a movie about Herakles that was relatively accurate and not cheesy. I'm not a fan of the Disney Hercules. And it seems that other heroes get recognition (Alexander the Great, Achilles, Spartans, Odysseus, etc) at least in books and movies, but Herakles doesn't. There's tons a movie could focus on-- his emotional journey, the actual labors, etc.
